in other news.....
katharine and i were in such a frenzy to get sugar and alcohol into our bodies on v-day that we grabbed boxes of conversation hearts, only to realized once we opened them up that they were completely in spanish. AMIGO.

1/15 scale tee-pee.

initial design.
i.e. scraps of sketchbook paper stick-glued together.

reinforcement stage.

crafty paper sewing. not completely finished with this part yet.

And you better believe there will be some major interior decorating going on. i hope the loveseat i picked out fits.

here's a nice bald eagle I fashioned from some paper.

by the way, there are 3-d paper-pieces in the works as well. wait for it.

So, I've decided to embark on the wonderful world of cut-paper. time-consuming and unnecessary. but i think its quite nice. I started and finished the oil tanker tonight. The igloo I made within the last couple of weeks. They are both part of a larger collection or story, something that will be created in the future.

oh yeah, let me just add, my camera is a piece of shit. sorry.

Vestibule; a gallery.

I'm starting a gallery. it's in my apartment. come over and i'll show you.
